Angelos milestone update email

Hey Everyone!

As of today, with your support, we have raised $1,850 of the $2,500 goal
that I am trying to achieve as I prepare to run the SF Marathon on July 31st. That leaves us $150 short of the $2,000 goal that I set for this 1/2 Marathon milestone. If you would like to donate remember that any amount helps. Please donate whatever you can and lets reach that goal.

So.... Here are the results for my very first 1/2 Marathon EVER!!! Overall I placed 383 out of 2,254 with a time of 1:52:33 -- a 8:36/mile pace. I'm pretty happy with that. That actually placed me 118th in my division out of 382. Not only that, but I got my first medal... actually, everyone who finished got a medal... but that's still pretty awesome. Now I just have to continue training to do that twice in a row without stopping and I have until July 31st. On that day I will run the SF Marathon and hope to have raised at least $2,500 for ATC. Again, please support my campaign and ATC however you possibly can. Thank you for your support!

Please continue bringing in the donations in whatever amount you can as we try to help At the Crossroads offer the best support they can for the homeless youth of San Francisco. If you have any questions about ATC or my campaign, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for all your support!!!

Marcs final email- getting friends involved

Marc Vogl sent this final email to his friends and supporters; thanking them for donating to his Campaign, but also trying to get them involved by doing a Campaign themselves!

Friends! Supporters! Ukelele Die-hards!

A quick note to say THANK YOU one more time for your tremendous contributions to my Ukelele Powered campaign to support At The Crossroads.

My goal was to bring in $5000 for this righteous organization and because of YOU we raised $4,671 and made it 93% of the way there!

I am astounded that 78 of you stepped up and pitched in from near and far, friends I’ve made in the last year, friends who’ve known me my whole life and all of you who know that I am musically challenged. I’m still working on the ukulele tunes (and taking more classes) and will treat you (inflict upon you?) my plinking and plonking next time I see you.

Before I sign off for this year’s campaign I wanted to invite you to consider signing up for ATC’s I Think I Can campaign yourself. It can be a little ridiculous and highly rewarding.

And finally, if any of you work for a company that MATCHES YOUR CHARITABLE DONATIONS (and many companies even double match) getting a few Matching Donations would be incredible and help me raise the last $329 to reach my goal.

In case this might be something you can do, someone in your HR or Finance department will need to know the amount of your contribution and this info on ATC:

At The Crossroads

333 Valencia Street, Suite 320

Contact: Jon Sege or Rob Gitin - (415) 487-0691

In the notes field mention: “In support of Marc Vogl’s 2011 campaign for ATC”

Thanks again for your generosity and encouragement, and your support of me and ATC!

-Marc
