1. Spread the Word!
We know all you fabulous campaigners have a huge network of supportive people in your life that are dying to hear from you! Spreading the word about ATC takes little to no time at all. Here are a few ways you can help:
- Send an E-mail to your friends We would love for your friends to hop on board the I Think I Can train! Here's an e-mail example that you can use to make it simple for you to spread the word about the campaign to your friends. Hearing how easy and inspiring the campaign is from a past participant is the best way to get new campaigners involved!
- Post on our Facebook page Are we friends on Facebook yet? If not, join our group! If we are, then get posting! We would love to hear from you.
- Put links to the Campaign website on your Facebook profile Are you constantly racking your brain about what to put in that little box on your facebook profile that says “write something about yourself”? Tell people about the Campaign, and make sure to put a link to the homepage (campaign.atthecrossroads.org).
- Tweet about us on Twitter Tell all your twitter followers about us by making your next tweet about ATC and the I Think I Can Campaign!
2. Help us get business support!
- Silent Auction and Raffle items We need gift certificates, gift baskets, and other items for the silent auction and raffle at the Campaign launch event. Dinners for two at restaurants, $50 gift certificates to your favorite retail store, etc.
- Thank you bags We want to thank participants with various high-quality goodies, including products and gift certificates. This is great if you have a large quantity of items to donate. Chocolates, lip balm, make-up, stationary, sample size products, etc.
- Sponsorship We would love your workplace or your friends workplace to sponsor the I Think I Can Campaign and Launch Event with a gift of anywhere from $250 to $10,000. We will spread the word about their generosity in some pretty amazing ways; learn more here.
- Participate as a Team Doing a group Campaign will help build teamwork and morale, and will provide a fun new way for your employees to work together. Eat healthy lunches, walk around the block at lunch break, bike to work, or anything else you want.
3. Join the Campaign Again this Year!
Do you feel like you could pick another goal and raise even more money for ATC? We would love to have you join us again! If you are worried about not being able to come up with another creative Campaign idea, or even if you are concerned that you don’t want to hit up the same people for donations again this year, don’t let that stop you - we have suggestions and solutions to all your concerns!
As new Campaign Coordinators at ATC, we are so excited to get to talk to the experts (you!) about the above ideas, and any others you may have!
Hope to talk soon,
Ally, Alison, and Hannah
